Sunday AM I brought my camera to catch a glimpse of the Paddle Out for Clean Water. Local surfers and kayakers paddle around the OB pier to show their support for keeping our oceans in good condition. Thanks to the super foggy conditions, I couldn’t see the pier, let alone the paddlers. So, thanks to the San Diego Union-Tribune, here’s a pic from the pier.
We need to keep the water clean for our canines, too.
[About 1,000 surfers and a handful of kayakers participated in a paddle-out organized by the San Diego chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. The event is put on to raise awareness about coastal pollution, especially the treated sewage and runoff that seeps into coastal waters.]
