thinking of those we lost

Not the most traditional way to acknowledge those who have lost their lives for our us, but I’m giving a big shout out to those I never knew who made the ultimate sacrifice for those of us who have it too easy. Today wasn’t just about BBQs and the beach. Thinking of you and yours. XXXOOO

The early morning weekend crowd [joining us to beat the crowds].

This poor guy had to create a memorial for his board that was in 2 pieces after some time in the surf.

Two less-than-common breeds. A Great Dane puppy checks out an Afghan Hound.

Ronnie had to pick this poor guy up and throw him in the water before the dogs made him a toy.

Maybe not traditional….but you had all the right thoughts!! Glad you enjoyed your day Jen!

  2. No better way to honor those who made it possible for us to enjoy these moments, a rather fitting post when you consider it. :)

the Great Danes are so awesome. I’ve been seeing more and more of them every time. I never get to see a crab.. I need to go earlier I suppose. ~~ Have you ever seen that white mean dog that I got pictures of. Honestly at first I thought the dog was playing rough like some dogs do. But, they were fighting for a minute and then would stop. The owner of the yellow dog actually grabbed that white dog by the throat (SO BRAVE!!) and threw it back off of another ladies dog – the ladies hubby was in the surf (he’s the one w/the surfing dog) she had to put her dog in the truck as he was too scared to stay on the beach..Then to top it off the guy who owned the dog was drunk @ 11am and didn’t leave for another 30 minutes at least.. some peoples kids LOL… HOPE YOU AND EVERYONE HAD A GREAT MEMORIAL DAY WKND!!!
