puppies and fish eggs

I was trying to snap this little guy here…

… when the motley crew got in the way. You can see the Boxer pup [barely] in the background.

What isn’t so apparent in this pic…

… but is becoming so in this one…

… is that roe (fish eggs) covered the sand along the river mouth this morning. You could see where it came in with the tide, but didn’t hitch a ride back out. I wonder what’s up? That’s a TON of potential fishies that never will be.

    Did it smell? And did the dogs eat it?Most smelly fishy things on our beaches either get eaten or rolled on!

    Smelt eggs? I love those :) on sushi hahahah! not @ dog beach though ~ wow, how weird is that… I've never seen that before ever… Was the tide super low again this morning. I'm taking Bell tomorrow morning for sure… rain or shine. IT'S BEEN A WEEK I'm having withdrawals probably more than her.. LOLmmmm sushi!

    Well LadyBug would have been ALL over those things….she ROLLS constantly in anything that smells! Seriously….I could bathe her every single day….if you know of a good way to STOP this behavior….PLEASE let me in on the secret!! Very weird….I don't think I've ever seen so many eggs like that just lying on the beach!
