We’ve been back in San Diego for a couple of days, but I still have so many great road trip pics to share. This will be the last one for this week, but I’ll probably post a few here and there over the coming weeks to break it up a bit.
If you’re not familiar with San Simeon, it’s home to the Hearst Castle and the elephant seals. We found a beach just north of where the elephant seals bask and howl (very cool, yet smelly, if you’ve never experienced it) just off US-1. Though the signs said dogs must be leashed, there were few people around and we let the dogs loose on the side where it was vacant. The kids had been cooped up in the car for so long, they needed to play!
To the right, there was a little fresh water lagoon. TempTide had fun chasing rocks Ronnie thew in the water.

I love those pictures, you guys are having so much fun. Is it really stinky??licks and sniffs, Sasha
It wasn't smelly enough for TempTide, Sasha, but just perfect for us humans.
'midget wrestling' – perfect description!
Grrr….can't see your pics but love your descriptions! Glad you had a good holiday….just dropped in to say hi!Slobbers xx
WOW.. those pictures turned out great of the dogs in the water/grass and the shot of the rock hitting the water.. VERY NICE! HAHA – i talked my sis in law Tracy into bring their dog POPO to dog beach w/me Saturday morning. Tracy is nervous but I told her PoPo be fine lol… That tree was an awesome backdrop – You always have the funniest things to say about your Temptide Duo..

TempTide are just So cute Coming AND Going!! How do you ever get anything done with these 2 adorable poochies around??
You guys are all so sweet. Yes, never a dull moment with these two. They are sleeping at my feet now. In the exact same position just inches from each other.
