bye-bye guinness

Upon returning home from our family holiday trip, I found out Guinness died at home on Sunday. He was an awesome dog, and I’m sad I gave my last Guinness hug on Christmas Eve. He’ll be missed sorely, and we’ll raise a pint with Alan in his honor this evening at a local bar near the beach.

These shots are not mine. Alan shared them with last week, and I love them.

I don’t know the photographer’s name, but he captured Guinness’s strength and beauty beautifully. He almost appears as a god. :)

I think this one and the following are favorites of Alan’s. They were taken at Lake Powell, where Alan and Guinness spent many good times.

RIP Guinness. You were one cool cat.

Aww, what a sweet looking pup. I'm so sorry for those mourning Guinness. It is so, so sad to part with a friend. It's been 8 months since my dog Molly passed. The overwhelming sadness fades, but she is in my heart forever; just as Guinness will live on in yours.
